London Pleasures
There once was a donkey
"Stuff your metre up your ass", the donkey said
in very nice garments
the donkey was clad
The donkey kicked
and rummaged about, never thinking
about acceptance
and clout
It'd seen the world
the donkey said
mostly it'd seen
only the world in its head
It was a fair donkey
It was a pleasant donkey
but it didn't want to be
anybody's monkey
Stubborn it was
As donkeys are
Stubborn enough
To not get afar
No grand journeys
No grand forays
Here it would be
And here it would lay
To London it came
only once in its life
It's behinds came up
And it left it in strife
